My parents have some pretty incredible neighbors. Growing up, my neighbors were really close. We had what was called "chairs" every Sunday, where all the neighbors would bring their lawn chairs and gather in my parent's driveway to talk and mingle. It has been years since I lived at my parents house, and sure enough, every sunday they are still gathering for "chairs". I seriously love that neighborhood.

Almond and Cherry are a match made in flavor heaven…
These sheet cake is moist and AMAZING! The Cherry Frosting itself will blow your mind. And as I have mentioned before, I am OBSESSED with almond extract… The smell alone gets my mouth watering!
The cake is moist and delicious. Another great thing about this cake is that it serves quite a few people because it is made in a cookie sheet so it is great for feeding a crowd.

Remember on this Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Frosting last week that I told you I had a few more cookie dough frosting recipes to share with you? Well, today I have one of them to share with you :)
Snickerdoodles… they happen to be one of my FAVORITE cookies! What is not to love about cinnamon-sugar goodness with a unique flavor from cream of tartar?!
Truth be told, I can't help but pop a few snickerdoodle cookie dough balls in my mouth… … Continue Reading »
I love granola bars. They have always been my go-to snack when I am on the run or out and about.
This homemade version is phenomenal. It has the right amount of crunch and flavor. They are chew and absolutely delicious and, in my opinion, get better with age :)
If you want to try a granola bar from scratch, give this one a try! It couldn't be easier! And something about homemade always makes things more tasty. With kids in school, this … Continue Reading »
Now that September is officially here, our schedules tend to pick up. Fall is my favorite time of year but it can also be quite hectic. With quick snacks like these Snickers Rice Krispie Treats, you might find a few extra minutes to yourself.
It’s not uncommon in our household to make a half batch of Rice Krispie Treats a couple times a week. It’s the one thing I don’t mind making because it usually takes less than 10 minutes to make. Just … Continue Reading »
We went to visit my family recently and my mom had made these amazing Oatmeal Creme Pie Cookies. I couldn't get enough of them! I am a huge fan of the Little Debbie Creme Pies, and while these didn't taste quite like them (I'll hunt down and try to create the perfect adaption of those one day) they were still incredible!
The Marshmallow Creme Frosting Filling is ridiculously good. It has a thicker-gooier texture than most frostings and really … Continue Reading »
My mom makes THEE BEST hawaiian haystacks. That is no lie.
I am not normally a rice or a cream of chicken soup fan (you can easily make your own cream of chicken and sub it out) but I will say that this recipe is phenomenal! I gobble it up faster than I can get it on my plate. My husband will have 4 to 5 helpings himself! (don't ask me how a personal can eat 4-5 helpings of anything and stay as thin as he does).
Well lucky you, today my mom … Continue Reading »
