Homemade Taco Seasoning... A delicious blend of spices and seasonings that is perfect for one pound of ground beef. This recipe is perfection and will have everyone asking for more!

Taco Tuesdays are huge at my house. I have been using this recipe from All Recipes for years now, with a couple additions of course. In my own personal taste, I like when my taco season thickens up so I add cornstarch and water. Other than that, the spice measurements were perfect for each member of my family, kids included. Of course, if you want to cut down on heat, you can reduce or lesson the red pepper flakes.

My kids literally request this meal all the time. It is a favorite in our house and I am sure it will be in your home too. It is so simple to make. This great to have on hand and can be made with basic pantry ingredients!

Definitely give this recipe a try on your next taco night!

Tried this today and it was fantastic. More flavorful than those packets you buy. I did decrease the red pepper flakes to 1/8 tsp as I find them to be a bit spicy for my tastes. Defiantly add to my menu rotation

I'm excited to try it. Do you find that the red pepper flakes are there only to add heat, or does it add to the regular "Bite" you normally get from taco seasoning? I don't like spicy foods but I love the way the chili powder and paprika make a "heated" element. Curious to hear about the spice level

I can't do spice hardly at all and this spice level doesn't bother me. It does have a kick, but you can remove the red pepper flakes to omit some of the heat :) I hope that helps!

It was a great seasoning but I added 1/2 teaspoon of Cilantro and i think that made it too spicy for my family, but I loved it.

Try this as a rub for chicken, pork, or beef, it's amazing! This is the best blend of seasonings
