I am so excited to be partnering with HERSHEY’S today to bring you these yummy REESE’S Peanut Butter Sugar Cookies.
REESE’S happen to be my husband’s favorite candy, so when I am baking with REESE’S, it is a glorious day for him as a taste tester.
Sugar Cookies are a favorite around our house. And then it dawned on me, why not make a peanut butter version?! These Peanut Butter Sugar Cookies are topped with a Peanut Butter Buttercream, chopped up REESE’S and drizzled with chocolate. Each bite is peanut butter-chcoolate perfection.
For the Peanut Butter Sugar Cookies you will need…
And for the Peanut Butter Buttercream Frosting, REESE’S topping and chocolate drizzle you will need…
The dough is thick and has the perfect amount of peanut butter flavor. It rolls out beautifully. I used a heart shaped cookie cutter for Valentine’s Day, but you can use whatever kind you want.
The next steps are to make your Peanut Butter Buttercream, sprinkle on the REESE’S and drizzle on the chocolate.
Trust me, if you love REESE’S, Peanut Butter and chocolate, you will adore these cookies! They are perfect for Valentine’s Day!

- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1¾ cup flour
- ½ teaspoon baking soda

- ½ cup butter, softened
- 1 Tablespoon REESE'S Peanut Butter

- ½ cup HERSHEY'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

- Bake at 350 degrees F for about 8 minutes.
- Repeat and continue to roll and cut out cookies until all dough has been used.
- Remove baked cookies from cookie sheet and place on cooling rack until completely cool
- In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and peanut butter until light and fluffy.
- Add powdered sugar, milk and vanilla and beat until well mixed.
- Frost cooled sugar cookies.
- Sprinkle chopped REESE'S Peanut Butter Cup Miniatures over the tops of the frosted sugar cookies.
- In a small microwave safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and shortening and heat in microwave in 30 second increments, stirring between each increment until smooth and melted.
- Drizzle over the tops of sugar cookies.
Enjoy!
