I am guessing by the title of this recipe, you have all concluded this isn’t your typical salad… and you are right!
I love a good salad. Seriously. Leafy greens and mix up the salty or sweet additions… its great!
I also love a dessert salad. Like this one. It is the perfect combination of flavors! When I first heard what went into it I was very skeptical of how it would all taste together… well take my word for it… it is AMAZING! I first tried/received this recipe from my parent’s cute neighbors. My family has been hooked ever since. We had a BBQ with our friends recently and I made this as a side dish/dessert and everyone loved it! I also love it because it is unique and different. If you have to bring a side to a dinner with your friends or family, give this one a whirl!

that looks DELISH–and your photography is quite lovely;)
When I reach my goal weight I will definitely have to try this one. Sounds yummy!
Fun idea! I can’t wait to try this one.
I definitely agree with the other commenters — this is one salad I can always say yes to! Reminds me of when I used to get blizzards from Dairy Queen as a kid. =)
Cookie salad? I’m there! This looks so good – shame I can’t kid myself it’s healthy!
Making this for the family this weekend {pinning, too}! Thanks Nikki!
Sounds tasty. I bet the buttermilk gives it some zing!
I have been making this for years and everyone loves it! We also add bananas right before serving so they don’t go brown:)
I make a similar salad and it’s now been dubbed “Rebecca Fluff”. :) I love the idea of putting pineapple in it, the mandarin oranges are my favorite part of my salad. I also include Oreos in mine. Next batch I’m adding pineapple though!
Now that’s a salad I would like!
This sounds exactly like MY “The Best Buttermilk Salad Ever” recipe!
