Slow Cooker Chicken and Mushrooms

It is summer time which usually means we are all out enjoying the outdoors!  On days I know we are going to be gone for a few hours at a time, I love to do crock pot dinners.  This one is absolutely delicious and comes from the 365 Days of Slow-Cooking Cookbook (one of my personal favs!).  It is super easy, requiring little work, and the end product is absolutely delicious!

Enjoy!

In my typical not paying attention running out the door fashion, I threw everything into the crockpot. Do you think the milk and cheese will be okay cooked?

How long do you continue to cook the chicken after you have returned it to the crock pot and added the evaporated milk, cheese and parsley?

This looks SO good! I want to make it for dinner, but I'm trying to cook meals using ingredients we already have. I'm not a huge fan of canned mushrooms, but we have a whole case. Do you think they would work?
