Easy and Beautiful Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Before week before things got medically crazy with my sweet husband, my cute sister-in-law and I took a girls road trip to Vegas!  My Aunt and her family live there and we couldn’t wait to visit them!  One of the nights we were there, she was hosting the dinner for her daughter’s Prom.  We served a variety of food but when it came to the dessert, we wanted  to do something quick, easy, but still looked “Prom-appropriate”.  This is one of the desserts we served and everyone commented on how “fancy they looked!”

This isn’t so much a recipe as much as it is a way to dress up an already amazing treat!

FANCY CHOCOLATE DIPPED STRAWBERRIES

Strawberries
Dipping Chocolate (I like Almond Bark)
1 cup White chocolate chips
1 tsp. crisco

Dip strawberries in dipping chocolate.  Set to let harden.
Melt chocolate chips and crisco in the microwave stirring every 30 seconds until melted.
Pour chocolate into a ziplock bag.  To do this I put the bag inside a cup and fold around the edges of the cup.  Easy Peasy!
Snip a tiny corner off of the ziplock bag and drizzle over chocolate strawberries back and forth!
let the chocolate set up and store any uneaten strawberries covered in the fridge.

Enjoy!

It is such an easy addition that takes your chocolate covered strawberries to the next level!
