Homemade Meaty Spaghetti Sauce

My daughter’s favorite dinner of all time is spaghetti. It has been the one thing I can always count on her to eat since she could basically handle solids. She slurps down those noodles almost faster than they hit the table… If only I were kidding :) Here she is 3.5 years ago… luckily, she has become a much neater eater since then ;)

Homemade Spaghetti sauce is SO amazing. Really. You can get the flavor exactly how you want to. Not only is it so flavorful and delicious, but it is super easy to throw together. We love the addition of ground beef, it helps to make the spaghetti dinner feel more like a full meal.

Give this recipe a try the next time spaghetti is on your menu! It is the perfect way to jazz and change things up! Once you try this recipe, it will be hard to pop open a jar again!

I love the picture of your daughter, Nikki. When my oldest son was little he was a slob as an eater and I had to put a big cloth down under his chair until he was about five years old! The spaghetti looks marvelous.

My friend has spaghetti night outside on her porch with her little girl and twin boys. Makes clean up easier. Cute kid you have there.

This spaghetti sauce is bar none the BEST homemade spaghetti sauce I've ever made, & so simple! My husband is extremely picky when it comes to his spaghetti but one bite of tonights dinner & he was in love, proclaiming that I had finally found a winner. I followed the recipe to the tee w/ absolutely no changes & it was perfect. This is now my go to for all our pasta dinners - THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I made this recipe recently and it was the best spaghetti I've ever had. I will never buy sauce in a jar again. Thanks for the recipe!

Cute picture. I googled "homemade spaghetti sauce" and all I am finding in adding some ingredients to canned store bought tomatoes. I might as well save a bit of money and by a jar of ragu cheaper and just as good. So now I'm off to find a recipe for HOMEMADE SPAGHETTI sauce.
    Thank you!

I just wanna say that I have been making this recipe for over a year now. I've said good bye to the jarred "store bought" spaghetti sauce. It doesn't even begin to compare to the flavor of this homemade recipe. My dad always grows a pretty decent sized garden every summer and always has stuff to can for the winter. He had so many tomatoes left at the end of last summer, we peeled and "juiced" the tomatoes and made this sauce which we then canned. Needless to say, we went through the canned jars of sauce pretty quickly. It was awesome! Thank you for sharing this recipe and bringing a now LOVE for spaghetti to my family. ;)
