Hot Spinach Artichoke Dip

I absolutely LOVE a good dip. Growing up, my mom always made a delicious Spinach Artichoke for the Super Bowl… but it was always missing something, at least to me. I finally figured it out… CREAM CHEESE! haha! Doesn’t cream cheese must make everything better?! So I adapted her recipe and have fallen in love!

This dip recipe has taken the number one spot on my favorite dips. I could easily eat the whole pan myself, and I wish I were exaggerating about that :) I brought this to our Super Bowl party a couple months ago and it got rave reviews! If you need to bring an appetizer to your next party or get together… BRING THIS! Your company will be begging you for the recipe!

THE BEST Hot Spinach Artichoke Dip from chef-in-training.com …This dip is seriously amazing! I could eat the whole pan myself!

Is there a substitute for the mayo? Or would it taste ok without it? Egg allergy.
    Would love to try this!

I have a son with an egg allergy and have made a similar recipe. I subbed sour cream for the mayo and it turned out well.

I've been browsing your site this morning and have printed a couple of recipes to try. They all look fab! I have made this type of hot dip before, but my version includes mozzarella cheese (1c) and a can of chopped water chestnuts.. Super, Super rich.

Do you use pickled artichokes or those with no flavor additives? The only artichokes I have seen at area grocery stores in jars are pickled, but have found cooked hearts in cans. Thanks for any input.

Sounds good, but a little bland. I put in a small can of diced green chilis and a couple of finely diced jalepenos. It popped this recipe right up to something special.
