Oh my - I'm wanting to make these right now even though I just finished off a batch of cookies. They look so good!

I made these tonight for a cookie exchange and I hate to say it, but I am embarrassed to bring these. I followed the recipe to a T and they are not good. Very bland. I made my husband and daughter try them also and they both agreed with me. Not sure what would make them better, maybe more vanilla or all brown sugar, but I won't be making them again.

I have to agree with a previous commenter.....these looked so nice and I loved that they used ingredients I already had on hand and were super easy to throw together; unfortunately, the finished product was rather bland. I may make these again with a few changes and see if I can remedy that. Thanks for sharing this recipe! :)

I agree... Thinking maybe a pinch of salt could help and possibly a bit more vanilla?
