Easy Strawberry Cream Pie

I typically am not a pie person.

I know, I know.  Cast your judgements :)

Its just if I am going to indulge in a dessert, pie would not be my first choice…. that is unless this pie is making its appearance!

I am sure we all have recipes that take us back to childhood.  This is one for me.  Both my grandma and mom make this often.  It is a GORGEOUS pie and has a flavor to match!

  15. Lisa

Pie is not top on my list either but mainly because I don't like pie crust. Have you ever tried it with graham cracker crust? It looks oh so yummy!

  16. Joanna

I'm not a fruit pie gal, but this was great. I used a premade shortbread crust. This was a a perfect light summer dessert. Thanks!

I give you kudos for trying but I would like to offer up a couple of points.
    1) This is a cream cheese pie with strawberries not a strawberry cream pie, a big difference.
    2) The pie shell is BAKED not cooked.

    Thank you!

    1. Rust

Oh no you did not! Looks like a strawberry cream pie to me ... :)

    2. Kate Lorenzon

You, Jim, are a pretentious ass. Nobody cares, but kudos for trying.

Hi! I saw you're recipe on Pinterest and thought I should give it a try! I had almost every ingredient but the heavy whipping cream, I live 8-9 hours away from a city and our closest supermarket is 45 minutes away unfortunately, I couldn't find the heavy whipping cream! :( ... So, I bought 35% smooth whipping cream, will it work? Or can I substitute with another ingredient? Please help me and save me from a failed try! :P
    Thank you! Em.

  21. Emma

I just made this and it's now in the fridge, how long should I refrigerate it? I also used "smooth whipping cream" instead of heavy, I couldn't find any "heavy whipping cream" at our groceries stores! :( crossing my fingers it'll turns out good!

  22. Rust

    WOW!
