The Best Meatballs!

I have tasted many meatballs in my life.  To be honest, I have never been a huge meatball fan… that is until I found this recipe.  This recipe truly does live up to its name.  These meatballs are fabulous!  My husband raved about them all night and how much he loved them.  One of my favorite things is to hear my husband go on and on about my cooking.  This recipe definitely goes down as a winner in our books!Pin ItTHE BEST MEATBALLSrecipe from: Kraft Foods2 lbs. ground beef1 (6 oz) package stuffing mix, dry2 eggs1 1/4 cups waterPreheat oven to 400 degrees FLine 2 (15x10x1 inch) baking sheets with foil; spray with cooking spray.Stir ground beef, stuffing mix, eggs, and water until well incorporated.Mold into 32 (1 1/2 inch) balls and put 16 on each baking sheet.Bake 16-18 minutes or until done (160 degrees F).Enjoy!Linking up to these parties and here

  1. These are yummy, I had a similar recipe back in the UK except you made up a tomato sauce with diced celery, diced carrot, onion, sieved tomatoes, garlic, herbs and and a splash of worcestshire sauce. Then you made the meatballs as per your recipe but cooked them in the sauce. Saves on pans haha!

  2. I have "On Top of Old Smokey" stuck in my head now…It's been ages since I've had spaghetti & meatballs. As soon as I get the stuffing mix from the store, I am totally making these!!

I love these meatballs! Tonight however I was wanting some thing different for a last minute/quick dinner so I made this recipe and made it into a meatloaf. I also had some beef gravy on hand so I threw that on top and made some mashed potatos with it, delicious! Thanks for sharing your recipes.

  5. I have been making a similar recipe for quite some time. I use a pack of Stove top Stuffing mix, turkey or pork, and soak the mix in milk for about 10 minutes. I put in enough milk to coat them which is about 3/4 to 1 cup of milk. I add the two beaten eggs to the stuffing milk mixture and then add it all to my hamburger. I always make 3 lbs of it. I also add 1/4 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup yellow mustard, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce a bit of salt, pepper and garlic powder. Bake them til done. People also rave about my meatballs.
