First off, HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I hope you all have a safe and fun night tonight!
Fact #1 I am sharing today: My hubby is the scoutmaster. What this means to me, well, I am the wife of a scoutmaster. I may not go to all the activities, but I sure do provide the yummy goodies that head their way.
Fact #2 I am sharing today: I grew up in a family of girls. My only brother (the youngest) was born when I was almost 15. I moved out when I was 18. Needless to say, I never really dealt with any “boys” in my house. Scouts is a whole new adventure to me :)
My husband brought the scouts over for their activity last week to our house. My first response was, “Well, what and how much do boys eat?” Girls of that age eat completely differently than guys. My hubby seeing a little bit of stress in my face told me not to worry about a thing and that he would be in charge of all the food. REALITY… my husband- love him dearly- can barely cook Top Ramen. Knowing this, I went all out and just made a bunch of treats/food for the guys. I must have forgotten to tell him I was taking care of it, because when he got home from work he was holding a bag of pretzels in his hand. Pretzels… for 8 boys? Not happening :) When he saw the table I had set up, I don’t think the meanest of comments could have wiped that smile off his face. I had done well in his book :)
The boys came over and devoured the treats/food I had made! The one that may have received the highest amount of compliments is the one I am sharing with you today! It is a great party food, people LOVE it, and it is fall color schemed which makes it the perfect snack to make for your next fall get together. What’s that?! You are having a party tonight for Halloween?!… Well, get on this! It is SO easy and people won’t be able to stop chowing down on it!
