Strawberry Frozen Dessert

This recipe reminds me of my grandma.It comes from her cookbook and she would make it all the time for us!It is pretty simple to make!here’s the recipe:STRAWBERRY FROZEN DESSERTCrumbled Crust: 1 cup flour1/4 cup packed brown sugar1/2 cup chopped pecans1/2 cup melted butterMix together.  Spread over 9×13 pan.  Bake at 350 F for 15-20 minutes.  Do not burn.  Light brown is done. Once done, Stir to break up.  Let cool completely.  Put 2/3 of the crumbled crust mixture on the bottom of pan and reserve rest for topping.Strawberry Mixture:2 egg whites3/4 cup sugar10 oz. thawed frozen strawberries2 Tbsp. lemon juiceBeat strawberry mixture on low speed until thickened (about 2 minutes)Fold in 14 oz. Cool whipSpoon evenly over 2/3 of cooled crumbled crust.  Sprinkle rest of crumb mixture on top.Freeze.  Serve Frozen!Enjoy!Don’t for get to enter My Thank-You Giveaway!

    another super easy way of making this, or at least something close... the mixture: 8oz cool whip, block of cream cheese, 1 box any flavor jello (using the powder, not the completed jello) mix together and put into a graham cracker crust, super easy and ppl love it. I have tried strawberry, lime and orange!!!
