I am so excited to have Kristyn from Lil’ Luna here today. I just adore this girl! She has been one of my good blog friends for over a year now. Hi there my Chef in Training friends!! Kristyn from Lil’ Luna here. I’m so glad I can be here today helping out while Nikki is taking a few weeks off with an injured thumb. Have I told you how much I LOVE Nikki?! She is one of my favorites and I use her recipes like crazy!! I’m so glad we were finally able to meet in person at SNAP last year and could room together there as well as at EVO in July of last year. LOVE her!!! Well, today I am going to be sharing with a super easy and quick appetizer idea. My family is huge on appetizers, and we are always looking for good ones. This Easy Bruschetta recipe happens to be one of those…
Not only is it DELICIOUS, but it is so simple to make. :) Here is how you can make it too:
EASY HOMEMADE BRUSCHETTA:
– 1 – 32 oz. can Italian Diced Tomatoes – 6 cloves Garlic – 4 TB Olive Oil – 3/4 cup basil
1. Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix right before serving.
For easy bread pieces to go with the bruschetta, I’ll show what we do…
1. Buy hogi sandwich rolls. Cut in slices and place on a cookie sheet.
2. Butter slices and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Broil on HIGH for 2-5 minutes (dependent on how fast and hot your oven is).
Serve the bread pieces with your bruschetta.
Talk about an easy, quick and yummy appetizer! I promise you’ll love this.
It is a family favorite that can be made so easily and tastes so good!
And in case you’re looking for a fun St. Patrick’s Day dessert, check out this latest creation…
For more fun recipes as well as some great crafts, printables and tutorials come on over to Lil’ Luna to say hi. I’d love to see you!!
Looks too good not to make it yourself! My boys love bruschetta and I make it often in the summer when there are fresh tomatoes... hadn't thought to use canned diced tomatoes so, now we can enjoy it in the cold months as well! Yum!
I love that this uses canned tomatoes! That way you can make it even when tomatoes are not in season! My husband loves bruschetta; I will have to give this a try!
