Sloppy Joes always seem to be a go-to meal around my house. My husband goes crazy for them as they are very meaty and filling. My kids also love them and the mess that comes with it.

I love creating and discovering new spins on classic recipes.

SO this was actually one of the first recipes my mom ever invented as a new cook. She would make it often for us growing up and we always devoured it.

I love the simplicity of it and how quickly it comes together! It got rave reviews all around our dinner table and will definitely be one I make more often for my own family. It had my picky eaters coming back for more, which is a huge win in my book.

Looks so delicious! Bought the ingredients and am making tonight. Two quick questions. It says to use a 10oz container of refrigerator biscuits, but I couldn't find that size. I could only find 7.5 oz and bigger than 10oz. Would you suggest the smaller or larger size? Also, what brand has 10oz?
Second question: I don't have cornmeal, can I dip in regular flour or should I just skip that step? What about bead crumbs??
    Thanks for your wonderful recipes!

Made this tonight-- even yummier than I thought it would be! I skipped the dipping the biscuits in milk & corn meal and it was fine. I used a can of "8 big biscuits", 16oz. can. I flatten them and then squished them together to fit the bottom. I used halves t go around the side. Thanks for this great recipe!
