Cookies and Cream Muddy Buddies

Remember this post for Cookies and Cream Popcorn yesterday, and how I told you my mom had A LOT of Oreos to use up… Well the craze continues and let me just be honest for a moment.

This snack/dessert is INSANELY ADDICTIVE and EXTREMELY DELICIOUS!

Muddy Buddies are one of my favorite treats! They are so fun and so easy to make, pack up, and take with you were ever you want. You have seen my posts for Nutella Puppy Chow and Cake Batter Muddy Buddies… but are you ready for the next addition to the Muddy Buddy clan?!

I dare say this may be my new favorite.  With only 4 ingredients, what is not to love?!

I've never seen this with the oreos before!! I ALWAYS make Muddy Buddies for the holiday - never with oreos - great idea. Now I need a food processor ;)

    I am totally pinning this!!

  2. Kellie

    Genius!

  3. Casey

Does it have to be double stuff oreos? and if not how many? I have regular oreos on hand!!!

    1. Chef in Training

you can totally use regular oreos! I just love double stuff because of the extra cream :) I would use about the same, 20. Hope that helps! Let me know how it turns out!

puppy chow, any way you have it, is by far the most addicting snack on the planet. absolutely 100% the BEST thing to bring to a party because people will inhale it. I speak from experience because my friend made my recent s'mores puppy chow recipe and I sat at the bowl all saturday night stuffing my face... ;)

looks good, just wondering if you adapt your recipes from someone else or do you make them up on your own?

    1. Chef in Training

Nope, I just made this up! If I ever do adapt from someone else, I site them :)

These were SO addicting and everyone in my office loved it! I had a hard time finding the white almond bark but ended up finding it at Wal-Mart. I shared your post on my site http://sprinklensimmer.com/?p=337. Thank you for the great recipe!

I've never made any kind of puppy chow mix.
I saw this n had to make it! Mine turned out kinda
Thick in spots, I followed the directions exact. Is
there a reason for it?? Either way it is delicious and my son has been eating it up! Thanks :)

The inconsistency is from the almond bark or white chocolate getting overheated. You can add a Tbsp of oil or shortening to the chocolate/bark if this happens and that will thin it out and make it more consistent again.

We are using white chocolate with almonds in it or white coating chocolate with no nuts?

  13. Amy

What kind of Chex cereal do you use, corn or rice?

  14. CoCo

This is awesome!!! THank you so much!! We've been purchasing it from stores, but can't find it anymore. My husband loves this so we now can share with all our family and friends!!! Thank you!!!:)
