I love cookies, but then again who doesn’t?!
I love cookies of all varieties- its hard to go wrong. I have some pretty unique cookies on the blog, but sometimes its good to pay a visit to the classics. Oatmeal Raisin Cookies are a favorite of ours and this recipe is the best!

These cookies are INCREDIBLE! You won’t be able to stop at just one!
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg plus 1 egg yolk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ¾ teaspoon cinnamon
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- ¾ teaspoon baking soda
- ¾ teaspoon baking powder
- 1½ cups flour
- 3 cups oats
- 1 cup raisins
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars thoroughly. Add eggs and vanilla and beat again. Add flour, salt baking soda, and baking powder and mix together until dough is formed. Stir in oats and raisins.
- Drop in spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 8 to 12 minutes.
