Brownie Pie

This Brownie Pie is fudgy, rich and divine! It is absolute perfection topped with ice cream and hot fudge. This is a delicious addition to any dessert table and will be one of the first pies to disappear.
  • 1 pie crust in 9" pie plate, not baked
  • 1 cup half and half
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet baking chocolate
  • 1½ cups sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ½ cup cocoa
  • ⅓ cup flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large microwavable bowl, heat half and half, butter, and semi-sweet chocolate until melted.
  3. Cool for 5 minutes.
  4. Add sugar, brown sugar, eggs, egg yolk, and vanilla and beat until smooth.
  5. Add cocoa, flour, and salt and mix until well blended.
  6. Pour into the pie crust and bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool and serve with ice cream and hot fudge.
