Churro Waffle Dippers

These are such a delicious and unique treat! They literally whip up in 5 minutes and are so fun for serving to a crowd! No one will ever guess what they are made out of!
Ingredients
  • 1 box Puff Pastry, 2 sheets thawed
  • cinnamon sugar mixture, I use McCormick or you can make your own by using ½ cup sugar and 2 teaspoon cinnamon
Frosting
  • ¼ cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions
  1. In a medium mixing bowl beat butter, powdered sugar, milk, vanilla and salt until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Heat waffle iron.
  3. Open pastry sheets and with a pizza cutter, cut dough into squares size squares, about 9. Place four squares of the bite size pieces of dough into the hot waffle iron. Cook for 2 to 5 minutes depending on your waffle iron. Cook until golden brown.
  4. Holding waffles over a plate, sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture over waffles on both sides.
  5. If desired, cut into smaller strips.
  6. Dip squares in frosting and enjoy!
