A tasty and delightful dinner loaded with flavor and delicious ingredients! This will become a new family favorite!
- 1 box bow tie pasta, cooked according to package directions
- ¾ cup butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 2 cup half and half
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon white pepper
- 3 cups fresh grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup cooked and chopped bacon
- 3 cups asparagus, cut in 1 inch pieces
- Cook pasta according to package directions, drain and set aside.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a medium sauce pan over medium heat, melt butter. Add garlic, cream, half and half, pepper and salt. Bring to a low boil and reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 4 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in 2½ cups Parmesan cheese. Set aside.
- Fill a large pot ¼ full of water. Bring to a boil and add asparagus. Boil for 4 minutes and drain water off asparagus and set aside.
- Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with vegetable spray. Place pasta in baking dish. (I did not use all of the pasta). Stir in sauce, asparagus, and bacon. Top with ½ cup fresh Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes.
- Serve hot.
