This dip is so easy to make and is a definite crowd pleaser!
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- ½ cup onion, finely chopped
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 (4 oz.) can diced jalapenos
- 1½ Tbsp. minced garlic
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- ½ cup ketchup
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 16 oz. cream cheese, softened and cut into small cubes
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese
- 1½ tsp. chili powder
- In skillet, brown ground beef with onion, and jalapeƱo pepper. Once ground beef is browned and cooked completely, drain off any excess fat. Pour drained ground beef mixture into crock pot.
- Add in tomato sauce, garlic, salt, sugar, ketchup, oregano, cubed cream cheese, parmesan cheese and chili powered. Stir ingredients together to combine.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 2 hours or until cream cheese melts and dip can be thoroughly combined.
- Adjust seasoning as needed.
- Serve directly from the crockpot or move to a serving bowl, with tortilla chips for dipping.
