Spinach Salad with Poppy Seed Dressing

This salad recipe has been in my family since long before I was born. My aunt Suzie first introduced them to the recipe and I have changed it up a little to my liking. Our family recipe has since been featured in the Taste of Home Magazine so you know it has to be a winner :) It truly is an amazing combination of flavors and textures. It is so easy to throw together and receives raving compliment whenever I make it for a crowd.

The Poppy Seed Dressing is outstanding. It whips up in just a couple minutes and really is so delicious. Looking for a new and exciting way to jazz up your next salad?… Then give this recipe a try! I am positive it will stick around your home.

I'd love to try this recipe.

By 'ground mustard,' do you mean regular hot dog mustard, or do you mean the dry/granular mustard...or something else entirely?

    Thanks!

I have to try this! I love spinach. But what do you mean by Ground Mustard? I'm based in Sweden and there are so many mustards to choose from. Of course I know many of them would do, but it would be interesting to know what kind of mustard you prefer for this. Love your blog. Yummm!

Its by the spices at the grocery store. Its just powdered mustard.

I made this salad for a dinner at my in-laws last weekend when my husband's great aunt and uncle came for a visit. They're on a 'lean & green' eating plan and I thought this would fit in well. It was a huge hit! Even I loved it (and I'm not fond of onions or poppy seeds lol). I'm planning to keep the dressing on hand and serve the salad as often as my family will let me get away with! Thanks for a fabulous recipe!
