Peanut Butter and Caramel M&M Cookies
I am so excited to have my friend Ashton from Something Swanky over hear today sharing a delicious cookie. She is a master of desserts! Her creations usually involve a combination of yummy items and today’s cookie is just that! Who can turn down these bad boys with so many amazing ingredients!?!
Hi there! Happy Holidays! Ashton here, from Something Swanky, and I’m thrilled to be visiting Nikki’s beautiful and tasty site!
A few things you may want to know about me about me… I’m a mom to a two-year-old, princess-toting, tantrum throwing, eternally-potty-training little sweetie-pie girl. I’m a wife of 6 years to a super dreamy, super freckled red head whose full time job is to stay in school forever (kidding, hon), and he makes my life complete. I love desserts (which is what I blog about), and I love to blog. I’m a self taught blog designer, and (shameless plug coming up here…) you can visit my design Etsy shop right here. Or, if you’re the DIY type, you can catch me chatting up DIY Blog Design at the BYBC in SLC in February alongside Lindsay, from Artsy Fartsy Mama (*gulp*).
I was super excited to be invited to participate in this cookie exchange, because really, it just doesn’t get any better than lots and lots of cookies. My mom is the ultimate cookie baker, and she raised me to be the ultimate cookieeater. And, I must say: I’m really quite good at it.
One thing my mom always taught me about cookies– they always need M&Ms.Always. Although you’ll catch me from time to time straying from this wise, motherly advice; I’ll always come back to my beloved M&M cookies.
Last holiday season, I made Pretzel M&M and Rolo cookies, and they were a smashing hit! Definitely new faves in my house. So here’s a new twist for this year: peanut butter cookies, peanut butter M&Ms, and, of course, Rolos. Get ready to fall in M&M-cookie-love.
Thanks for having me over, Nikki!
I’d love for you all to come visit me over at my blog (Something Swanky), or at these cool places:

First batch of cookies burnt following directions to bake at 375. Second batch much better at 350 degrees for about 9 minutes. Cookie contest this saturday...hope they win!

This is embarrassing, but I don't have an electric mixer. Is it possible to mix it myself and still have the same results?

do u know how many cookies this recipe made? glad to hear they came out great

Do these stay soft after they cool? After a couple days?
Cigi
These were a disaster! They were hard to get to stick together and basically fell apart when baked. The caramel from the candies ran all over making them lose any shape they may have had and caused them to explode. Very disappointed with this recipe, what a waste of time.

Does anyone know how many cookies this will make?
