Green Chile Jalapeño Dip

My cute husband is one of the most outgoing and social people you would ever meet.  If you couldn’t tell by his “Hubby Favorite List” post that he wrote, he is pretty funny and people adore him for his whit and humor.  Combine that with my love to cook, and you can gather that we get together with friends and family often.  We love it!  I love when I bring something to a party or get together and to see it devoured with in minutes… maybe its because I am a foodie… I don’t know, but what I do know is this dip is AMAZING!  You could bring it to just about ANYTHING- holiday party, football game, or just when you are enjoying the company of others- this dip is perfect! It is the perfect combo of heat and cool.  The cream cheese cools down the heat of the jalapeño to the perfect amount and the green chiles complete this dip to make it one fabulous appetizer.

As you can probably tell by now, my family LOVES dips! Especially my husband.  He would take the salty stuff any day over something sweet. I have been eyeing this dip from Closet Cooking for a while now and made it with my own little spins to it! This dip is truly EASY to make and will definitely please your guests.

My mouth is literally watering, Nikki! And I should say, you guys go to awesome parties and I'm jealous. Whenever my boyfriend and I go to parties thrown by adults our age or older, they NEVER have food period, much less chips or even canned dip. This would blow their minds if I brought it along, but I don't know... I just may scarf it all down myself before the party even starts :)

LOVE this Nikki! I feel like I could live off of dips. Esp dips with cream cheese and jalapenos! Is that strange? Dips and your sparkling cider pound cake ;)

This sounds right up my alley. I need a few new dips every season as I fancy myself an appetizer connoisseur, dips specifically. Thank you!

Due to what I had on hand after starting the recipe, we left out the Parmesan cheese and panko. We left out the jalapenos by choice. Everyone loved it in bean burritos and on tortilla chips.

Has the recipe been taken off the site? I made this a few months ago and loved it but now that I am back on the page to make again, I can't find the actual recipe. Thanks!
