Butterscotch Pudding Mousse
Hi, friends!Ashton here again, from Something Swanky :)
So happy to be here with you again! My family loves pudding mousse, and today I’m sharing with you my recipe for Butterscotch Pudding Mousse.
It was originally meant to be Chocolate Toffee Butterscotch Pudding Mousse.
But when I went to the pantry for my Heath Bits, they were mysteriously missing from my stash. So no Heath Bits today. But just know that they would be a wonderful addition :)
Butterscotch Pudding Mousse
Ingredients:
1 small package butterscotch instant pudding mix
1 1/4 c. skim milk
8 oz. cool whip1/
2 c. butterscotch chips or heath bits, plus some for garnish
Instructions:
Whisk together the pudding mix and the milk in a large mixing bowl.
Mix in the cool whip.
Fold in the butterscotch chips or toffee bits
.Garnish with remaining candy.
I added a swirl of chocolate syrup too.

So if I was using heavy whippping cream to use instead of cool whip (I started using this instead of cool whip simply because it's natural...I'm *trying* lol to eat more natural stuff) would I start with a cup of heavy whipping cream?
Something Swanky
You know... I'm not totally positive about that! I've used heavy whipping cream before a long time ago, so I don't really remember the measurements. But I do remember it turned out differently. I think I remember it still being good-- just very different.

This looks really good. I don't like a lot of butterscotch flavor, and I might have to add some chocolate chips. Yum!

I thin k it looks great - but might change it to chocolate too. sandie

This looks like a fun, easy dessert. I never would have thought of mixing cool whip into a pudding mixture. With you on the toffee. Sounds like it would be great in here!

Nikki, this looks incredible! I just love butterscotch pudding, so this is perfect for me. Great for an easter dessert, too!

Yes I believe 1 cup of whipping cream equals about 8 oz of kool whip.
