Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken

In my home, we LOVE Franks Buffalo Sauce.I use it for SO many different types of recipes!  It has an AMAZING flavor!  This crock pot recipe is so easy and only has 4 ingredients!  We ate our buffalo chicken in sandwiches with a cream cheese mixture, but you can eat it however you please!

Using two forks, shred chicken and return to crock pot. Add butter.
Cook on low for an additional hour.

Enjoy!

CREAM CHEESE SPREAD
cream cheese
blue cheese
shredded cheddar cheese

Add proportions how you would like.  We like ours with a great proportion of cream cheese.

To make sandwich:
Butter outside of each piece of bread.
On the insides of bread, spread the cream cheese mixture.
Place one piece of toast, butter-side-down, onto a hot griddle or pan over med-low heat.
Place some buffalo chicken on the cream cheese mixture and top with second piece of toast, butter-side-up.
Cook until bottom of sandwich is golden brown and then flip over to cook other side.

Enjoy!

We had this last week for the first time and it was so yummy! I served it with provolone and blue cheese dressing. Next time I'll have to try the cream cheese spread. Thanks for sharing :)

This looks very yummy. Do you have any other ideas in how to use this? I want to make this but can't have bread due to diabetes. Just wondering if you had other ideas in how to use this.

I am going to make this! I don't need to add any extra liquid, the buffalo sauce is enough to cook the chicken without drying out?

I am so excited to try this! We have a restaurant here called Vinny's that has buffalo chicken steak subs and I am super happy to find a recipe for a sandwich!

Looks delicious; how big a bottle of Franks? We love that stuff and always have the huge bottle, but would that be too much?

Love Vinnys Grill in Richmond! The blackened chicken is my fav! But really looking forward to trying this one!

What size bottle of Frank's do you use? The small or the large? I can't wait to make this as taco filling!

I made this and it was heinous and salty. Perhaps saying the size of sauce bottle and mix packet would help? I don't know, it was not very good at all and I enjoy buffalo flavor.

The Ranch dips only come in one size I think. However, it would be good to know the bottle size of the buffalo sauce. I bought a 12 oz. bottle but I am not sure that's enough to cover 3 pounds of chicken breasts.

You have to buy the 20oz bottle of franks. Frozen patties are must because they let off some water to reduce the salt content. Finally, 2 tablespoons of ranch powder taste a whole lot better than the whole packet.

Made this tonight. Makes so much and the sandwiches are so filling! I skipped the buttering/toasting bread and was just as delicious!

I'm making this tonight to use in a salad tomorrow! Has anybody tried a smaller amount of chicken? I'm planning on using 1 lb, half a packet of the salt and about 4 oz of franks. Hopefully it works out!

Your recipe sounds amazing!! Is it possible to cut the recipe in half? My family is small and we would have more leftovers than we know what to do with
