Homemade Breadsticks
One thing my mom does for my siblings and I still to this day (yes, I am married and have 2 kids) is make a dinner for our birthdays. No matter how old we get, it is something we look forward to. We live just an hour away from my parents, so the drive is never too far. My sister had her birthday last month and we all went to my parents place to celebrate. One reason I love to go home is for my mom’s cooking. She was my inspiration behind this blog. I aspire to be as good of a cook as her one day. The birthday girl (my sister) picked the dinner menu. The side dish she wanted was homemade breadsticks! They were DELICIOUS!

OMG! DELICIOUS
These don't have anything on those braedsticks from that rest. Chain!
They are so tasty, a light crunch on the outside and soft and chewy on the
inside. I'm upset I only made half a recipe. I did let them rise for 90 min
and then twisted them and let them rise 30 more min. Cooked
for 14 min. This is a keeper. Thankyou so much for sharing.

My daughter and I made these tonight to go with an Italian dish. They were amazing! The family agreed this one is a "do over" and often! Daughter said she could eat just these for dinner! Thank you for sharing!

These instructions need added to or the ingredients are wrong. The dough you get is extremely gooey. You need to add a lot more flour to even get a workable dough. My dough is rising now. Not a recipe for someone that has never worked with yeast dough before.
