Can this be refrigerated and then served the next day?

  18. Anonymous

I found a similar recipe and it said to refrigerate until served

  19. Anonymous

I refrigerated it and served it the next day and it turned out great! I let it sit on the counter for maybe a half hour before serving so it reached a more dip-able consistency.

Sadly this didnt turn out, i must have made it wrong :< it was alright...but really didnt taste like cookie dough and was brown, nothing like the picture.

I made this recipe after I saw it on Pinterest. It was sooo easy and so fabulous. On a whim, right after I took the pan with melted butter, brown sugar and vanilla off the stove to cool I threw in a handful of frozen raspberries. It cooled down faster and tasted fabulous. I tell everyone about it and I will be making this many many times in the future, trying new fruits and flavors. Thank you!!!!

F.Y.I. In the past several cases of e.coli, some fatal, we're leaked to cookie dough.

    1. Chef in Training

This isn't real cookie dough. There are no eggs or leavening agents. It just has a similar flavor to cookie dough.

This was very good. I made a half batch and it was plenty for us. I chopped up a milk chocolate Easter bunny that had escaped immediate consumption instead of using the chocolate chips. As for avoiding the "brown" appearance, you can use light brown sugar (instead of dark) and use clear vanilla extract. Thanks for the yummy recipe!

  31. Sarah

I need to make this to serve 20 people. What is your suggestion on measurements? Do I need to double, triple the recipe? Thanks.

I saw this on face book, jumped right up and made it, it's 10:30 here in Connecticut!!
I'd say I'm pretty good in the kitchen, not much doesn't get gobbled up, or wasted, so the only issue I had was the color. Mine did not turn out white. I had did use dark brown sugar, and dark vanilla.
Other than that, it was fab as I tasted it at every step. It is now resting in my fridge, I plan on digging in a short time from now. SO while it turned out fab, it did not look like the picture posted..
I can only assume if you use a light brown sugar, and a clear vanilla, that would make the difference. Color or not, great recipe, thanks for posting I'm sure my family will enjoy when they wake in the am. Thinking it might be good on waffle pieces!! Then I can throw some fresh strawberries on top as well.

I tried this recipe, it was an instant hit among my students. We had a small design exhibit opening, and the first serving was finished before even the formal ribbon cutting had begun! They just cant get enough of it. Good thing I brought extra! Im going to do this again this Christmas season and shape it into a Snowman (do you wanna build a snowman?) using white chocolate drops instead. Wish me luck!
    Love lots from the Philippines.

  34. Amanda

How many people does this serve?

Made this for July 4th. Adults liked it but the kids really loved it! Next time I may use a little less brown sugar for my own taste.
