Cookies n’ Cream Fudge

Fudge is one of my favorite Christmas treats.  I know we can make it year round, but the taste of it reminds me of Christmas.  This recipe is a fun variation on traditional fudge.  It also makes for a great neighbor gift!  If you love Oreos and white chocolate, you are going to LOVE this fudge!

COOKIES N’ CREAM FUDGE
recipe from: My Recipes

1 cup sugar
3/4 cup butter
1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
2 (12 oz.) packages white chocolate morsels
1 (7 oz.) jar marshmallow cream
3 cups coarsely chopped Oreos (about 25 cookies), divided
pinch of salt

Line a greased 9″ square pan with aluminum foil; set aside.
Combine first 3 ingredients in a medium saucepan.  Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil; cook 3 minutes, stirring constantly.  Remove from heat; add white chocolate morsels, marshmallow cream, 2 cups crushed cookies, and salt.  Stir until morsels melt.
Pour fudge into prepared pan.  Sprinkle remaining 1 cup cookies over fudge, gently pressing cookies into fudge.  Cover and chill until firm.
Lift uncut fudge in aluminum foil from pan; remove foil and cut fudge into squares.

Enjoy!

I agree, fudge makes me think of Christmas...and Branson. I'll have to go see how many bags of white chocolate I have, and if my marshmallow cream is still good (does that stuff actually go bad?)!

Saw this and just had to try it. I've never made fudge before but just had to try this. Mine didn't set up right don't know what I did maybe I didn't let it come to a good enough boil but it did taste good. I'm definitely gonna have to give it another go at it.

I did mine lastnight and it didn't set up right either, not sure what happened. I put it back in the fridge this morning and have my fingers crossed its better this afternoon.

I'd love to try this recipe, but I am not sure what white chocolate morsels are or whether I can buy them here in Germany. Is there anything else I could take?

Thanks! Just made it - it's chilling in the fridge now. I'm currently scratching the leftovers out of the pan. And even that is already delicious! I'm definitely making that again.

I'm thinkin' the "evaporated milk" that the recipe calls for is suppose to be condensed milk, which is typical for fudge recipes. Hope this helps! :)

I tried making this fudge yesterday but it didn't set! :( its very gooey and doesn't even come close to holding its shape....... It tastes great but unless I figure out a way to encorporate it into another desert it will go to waste. Might be good over ice cream... HmmmmSo was the recipe supposed to be done with evaporated milk or condensed milk

Made this today & it set up perfectly using the evaporate milk suggested. However, after reading reviews about it *not* setting I researched & found this identical recipe on Nestle's site - except that they only use ONE bag of white morsels - not 2, as suggested in this recipe. It's super yummy & put a smile on the faces of everyone here at my house! Thanks for the inspiration! It's a (1-bag) keeper.

Thank you! I went on the Nestle site and found the cookies and dream fudge! It was delicious!

Just made this recipe tonight. Was nervous to read some of the comments that mentioned it didn't set properly for them, but I followed the recipe above and chilled the fudge in the fridge for about 4.5 hours and it is PERFECT. So good! And such an easy recipe! Definitely a keeper. :)

    1. Amanda

Did you use 2 bags of morsels? Thanks :)

  16. Amanda

This is the only recipe I've seen that calls for 2 bags of morsels, can someone verify that 2 bags are correct? Thank you :)

I’ve been making this recipe for the last several years and it’s always a huge hit with family, friends, neighbors, coworkers...everyone! Sometimes I like to use one bag of white chocolate chips and one bag of mint chips to make it mint Oreo fudge. Either way, it’s divine!!!
