I can’t believe we are already in July! Where has this year gone?! Do you have fun plans for the 4th of July? We are getting together with both sides of our family and are so excited. I love being able to see our everyone, enjoy good food and see some exciting fireworks!

It is always fun to see what everyone brings to the potluck dinners. Coleslaw tends to be a transitional side dish with a lot of BBQ and potluck meals. This is such a classic recipe that is hard to mess up. It pairs well with a variety of main dishes and is SO easy and quick to throw together.

Ingredients
  • 6 to 7 cups shredded cabbage mix, I use a 14 oz. bag
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 3 Tablespoons white distilled vinegar
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon white pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dry mustard
  • ½ teaspoon celery salt
Instructions
  1. Place cabbage mix in a large bowl.
  2. In a smaller bowl combine mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar, sugar, salt, white pepper, dry mustard and celery salt. Mix well. Pour over cabbage and toss until completely coated.
  3. Serve.
