I love cinnamon bread so I tried this last night. Well, all the sugar wouldn't melt so I left it in the over for nearly 30 minutes and had to take it out. I can bake and should have known better that 1 cup + 1/2 cup sugar was too much. Anyways, I agree with the amount of cinnamon, but you can probably used two tablespoons of brown sugar and butter and toss it in the oven. I would also suggest that the top of the crescent rolls not have too much sugar as it is hard to melt. I do love the idea of using crescent rolls. That is genius, but all that sugar will put someone in a diabetic coma.
