These brownies are so fudgy and delicious! The Dulce de Leche Frosting is the perfect compliment!
Brownies
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1⅓ cup flour
Dulce de Leche Frosting
- ½ cup butter
- 2½ to 3 cups powdered sugar
- ½ cup Dulce de Leche
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Chocolate Drizzle
- ½ cup chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vegetable shortning for melting
Garnish
Brownies
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cream butter and sugar together in a large mixing bowl. Add vanilla and eggs and mix well. Add salt, cocoa powder and flour and stir to well combine. Do not over mix.
- Pour into a greased 9x13 inch pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 22-25 minutes.
Dulce de Leche Frosting
- In a medium bowl beat butter. Add powdered sugar and beat on low. Add Dulce de Leche, vanilla, and salt. Beat until creamy and smooth. Spread over cooled brownies.
Chocolate Drizzle
- In a small bowl melt chocolate chips and shortning in microwave in 30 second incrimates until completely melted. Drizzle over frosting.
- Sprinkle with pecans.
