Beau Monde Dip

I love refreshing dips that you don’t have to feel super guilty about eating. My Aunt Suzie makes this dip all the time for family get togethers and I am so excited to share it with you today.

This dip is flavorful and has such a fresh taste to it. We love to dip veggies in it, but you could also dip some potato chips or whatever you heart desires. With family get togethers on their way for the holidays, why not offer a delicious appetizer that you don’t have to feel guilty about!

Beau Monde is a spice found down the spice aisle. I have linked to the specific brand I used incase a visual helps you find it. I found mine at Smith’s Marketplace.

What does the Beau Monde spice taste like? The dip looks good, I'd just like to have an idea of what a spice is before I go buying it. Thank you! :)

Thanks so much for this recipe. I'll be trying this one for my next gathering. I agree about the refreshing. Tomorrow for the Bronco game, I've promised Queso Blanco, after that heavy appetizer, I'll be ready to give this one a try.

Love trying new dips for appetizers. Just wondering if that is fresh onion as listed in the recipe.

Thank you so much for posting this recipe! My family loves it and I make it several times a month it seems! I add a little sour cream to mine and get the small curd cottage cheese. Awesome!!!

Beau Monde has been on my spice shelf for some time. It has a slightly sweet salty celery taste. I always sprinkle it on my fried egg (in place of salt) along with black pepper. My grandsons love to visit my place so they can have my eggs.

Hi - I have a similar and wonderful Beau Monde dip that was handed down through my mom. It uses mayo, sour cream and chipped beef, chopped finely. I'll have to try this one as a twist. Thanks for another way to use the beau monde spice :)

Wow...i did not think anyone had every heard of Beau Monde Dip. This was a old standby growing up in my the 60's..My moms recipe used cream cheese and no mayo...very simple. A lot of people i have served it to did not like the seasoning. After moving out east from Cali I never could find the spice..Haven't had this in years.

This was a favorite recipe of our Jayshee's group ( wives of Jaycees) when I was newly married 42 years ago. We made it with sour cream and cottage cheese. Wonderful recipe and great memories of fun parties!!
