I went home to visit my parents a few weeks ago and pleasantly walked into these bad boys sitting on the counter top.
As if rice krispie treats weren’t delicious enough, the Oreos add the perfect touch of flavor and texture to jazz up this basic treat. My husband, a die hard Oreo fanatic, could not get these in his mouth fast enough. They could possible be his new favorite treat.
My mom came across this recipe form Glorious Treats and now it is here to stay. We love it.

By December 13, 2012
This recipe is amazing. The Oreos give this classic recipe the new perfect spin.
Ingredients
Print This Recipe
- 6 cups Rice Krispie Cereal
- 20 Regular Oreos chopped
- 5 cups mini marshmallows
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- white chocolate for drizzle optional
Instructions
- Spray a 9x13 dish with cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, pour measured Rice Krispie Cereal.
- Chop and mash Oreos. You can do this by putting them in a ziplock bag to help keep the mess under control. You want the Oreos to be a variety of sizes from chunky to finely crushed.
- Add Oreos to Rice Krispy cereal and stir to combine.
- In a medium sauce pan, heat butter and marshmallows together over medium heat, stirring constantly, until they melt together.
- Pour melted marshmallows over cereal and oreos and use a spatula sprayed with non-stick cooking spray to quickly combine all the ingredients.
- As soon as all the cereal is combined, spread mixture into the prepared 9×13″ dish. Use the spatula to press the mixture around the dish, and flatten as needed.
- Let sit until completely cooled. NOTE: When the rice kris pie treats and cooled I drizzled mine with some white chocolate and let it set until it hardened for a pretty finish.
Enjoy!

Glory’s treats are ahhh-mazing :)
They look awesome and I love RKTreats and also baking with Oreos. And with white chocolate. Everything I want, all in one!
WOW! These look incredible!! Just wrote down the recipe so I could give it a try this weekend :) Thanks!
Rice Krispies can do no wrong! They’re my favorite treat, though I never make them–what gives?! Anyway, this Oreo version looks fantastic. I can imagine swapping some of the flavored Oreos would be just as tasty!
Few things are as good as rice krispie treats I could eat them everyday! But these look totally divine! Wow you just totally made me wish I didn’t finish off the last of the double stuffed oreos last night!
I could put an Oreo in anything and eat it, but rice krispie treats? Heck yeah.

These are such a fantastic idea, they look SO delicious. I’m going to have to give these a try!
I made these for my boyfriend’s family last weekend for a
pizza party. They were a hit!
This recipe is the original rice krispies bar recipe with about 2 cups of oreo cookies added to it. That’s just fine if you like your bars very hard and crunchy. If you want it to have the original chewy texture then you will have to reduce the amount of rice krispies to 4 cups of instead of 6.
These look so good. I can’t wait to make them for my daughter.
Pretty sure this would count as first-degree murder, because this is going to KILL my diet!
These look fantastic will have to try them soon…
Just made this great recipe. I did need to add extra butter, to have a nice chewy texture.
Thanks for sharing!
I made these and they were a huge hit at a family barbs. Everyone requested that I make again.
