Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate

I LOVE Hot Chocolate. One of my family’s favorite things to do in the winter is to sit around our table in our cozy pajamas sipping on hot chocolate while its cold and/or snowing outside. The moment my kids sense the slightest hint of cold air, they are begging us to start the hot cocoa.

Salted Caramel is a trend right now that I couldn’t be happier about! The combo is a perfect combination in my opinion. Sweet and salty just work together.

This hot chocolate recipe is extremely easy and incredibly delicious! If you need a yummy drink to warm up with this winter, then let this be it! You will fall in love just as my family has :)

Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate... this hot chocolate is perfection! The right blend of chocolate, caramel and a hint of salt! The perfect way to warm up this winter!

I can't imagine anything cozier than curling up with a mug of this chocolate. Looks better than anything Starbucks whipped up. Delicious.

How many does this recipe make. Was thinking of making it when friends are over but not sure if I would need to double it.

Its a little chilly here today so I made this for my boys for a special afternoon treat. I didn't have any half and half on hand so I used vanilla coffeemate instead and it was delicious! My boys have little chocolate mustaches to prove it! :)

Wow! Can't think of anything better than sipping back on a half of cup of sugar and feeling my teeth dissolve as I drink - great recipe!!!

I actually think that this is a recipe for three, since it has about 3 and a half cups of liquid. The 1/2 a cup of sugar does seem like a lot, but like I said, it looks like its for three people. Just think of the sugar that is in a lot of the things that we drink or eat. Moderation is the secret.

This looks delicious, but I don't have caramel sauce. Can I make it at home? How? Just caramelise sugar until it turns into a syrup?

Unsweetened cocoa...powder? Is it melted chocolate? Baking chocolate or a Hershey bar?
Vanilla... extract? I've cream? Creamer? Almonds milk? The flower itself?
