Homemade Cranberry Sauce

Cranberry Sauce is a must at the Thanksgiving table!

What you may not know if you haven’t ever made cranberry sauce yourself before, is how extremely EASY it is to do! Plus, it is so fun to make! When the cranberries pop as they cook it’s actually very entertaining! :)

Aside from how fun and easy it is to make, it is very delicious! This recipe is the perfect way to top your turkey! Tune in later this afternoon for the turkey recipe for the year! It is AMAZING, especially accompanied with this yummy sauce!

Cranberry Sauce

Cranberry sauce is so easy to make and so much better homemade!
Prep Time 10 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes

Ingredients 

  • 12 ounces fresh cranberries
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest

Instructions

  • Combine cranberries, sugar, orange juice and orange zest in a medium sauce pan. Cook on medium-high heat and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
  • Reduce heat and simmer until berries pop, about 10-15 minutes.
  • Sauce will thicken as it cools.
