Oreo Crumb Crispies

Sugar Crumb Crispies will always be one of my family’s favorite breakfasts/after school snacks. As a mom, they are a favorite because they take about 20 minutes- start to finish INCLUDING clean up. Doesn’t get any better than that, does it?!

As I was playing with my kids the other day, it hit me. Why not make an Oreo crumb topping for the same recipe. I made them and fell in love! They are SO good! All you Oreo lovers out there will be quite pleased by this recipe.

These are INCREDIBLE! They whip up minutes and are a delicious treat!
Recipe type: Dessert
Ingredients
  • 1 can Original Pillsburry Crescent Rolls
  • ¼ cup cold butter
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 6 Double Stuffed Oreos
  • ½ cup flour
GLAZE
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. butter, softened
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
  2. In a food processor, grind Oreos into fine crumbs.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine Oreo crumbs, brown sugar, white sugar and flour.
  4. Cut cold butter into Oreo-sugar mixture to form a crumb.
  5. On an ungreased cookie sheet, separate crescent roll dough into 8 triangles. Sprinkle crumbs on top.
  6. Bake at 400 degrees F for 8-12 minutes.
  7. After they were cooked and cooled, I cut them into smaller triangles but you can leave them big too!
  8. To make glaze: Blend together all the glaze ingredients and drizzle over Sugar Crumb Crispies.

Enjoy!

My family loved these Crispies. I caught my children sneaking a few extra bites after dinner. Really tasty and absolutely easy to make. Thank you for another great recipe.

The original sugar crump recipe is like a homemade cactus bread from Pizza Ranch.....yep, my family now loves the fact we can have them anytime! And now I can have an oreo version that they don't serve at Pizza Ranch! Thanks for sharing!

Just made these. So easy. And awesome. Three boys and a mom approved. Have to make a double batch. Great recipe, thanks.

Made this in heart shape instead of triangle..took a lot of kneading. Not as chocolatey as I anticipated and the glaze was a little heavy on vanilla in hindsight.

Just made these yesterday and could not stop eating them once they came out of the oven! Delicious even without the glaze, but I love the vanilla flavor in the glaze. Definitely takes it over the top! Obviously these are not as crispy the next day, but they are still delicious to eat! Thank you for this recipe! Will definitely use this recipe again and again!

What does that mean cut butter? Literally cut it? Im a newbie at cooking/baking lol

Holy cow, these are awesome! I wanted a quick sweet treat and these are it! I cut my crescents before putting the topping on and all the edges got perfectly crispy. Thanks so much for this recipe! And the crumb topping made about double what I needed, so it's in the fridge waiting for the next time I make them, which will not be long at all.

These are SOOO easy and fun to make! I just made the cake batter ones and next I will try these Oreo ones! BUT, wanted to put a suggestion out there to you to experiment for us - some type of Nutter Butter crispy (I'm thinking crushed Nutter Butters mixed with the same ingredients as these Oreo ones and then for a drizzle mixing peanut butter with a bit of chocolate - not exactly sure how best to make this glaze so I'll leave that up to you!). Keep me posted if you do this!!!
