Tuesday Talent Show #38

Hope you all had a great Memorial Day weekend!  Mine has been amazing!

Today is an especially a memorable day for my family.  My husband’s father passed away when he was a young boy.  Today was his birthday and is also Memorial Day so it has been a very reflective day for our family.  It is also so humbling to think of all those who have died serving our country. I am so grateful for our family and the country we live in.  Whether your Memorial day has been celebrated by remembering and visiting loved ones, having a BBQ or simply enjoying the day off I hope you have a good time.

Without further ado,

Welcome back to The Tuesday Talent Show

    Good morning!

For this week's link up I've decided to submit my contribution to the Secret Recipe Club - are you a participant?

My contribution: Pan seared duck breast salad with fruit and toasted walnuts. Cooking times may vary depending on the size of your breasts. Mine took a while... Story of my life.

    Good morning to you!

So this past week Haydn and I blog a recipe from another blog or cookbook – I chose to do that but not. Instead I asked “where does inspiration come from?”…. a few hours later I had to then reflect, “where did all the rum go?”… oops! Summer-ish Strawberry Mojitos baby!
