Oreo Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies

I came across this recipe and knew I had to give it a try!  I was reading some of the comments about the recipe, and several people had problems with it spreading and the cookie looking like it had a growth on it.  The original recipe called for butter, and I don’t know about you, but when working with butter in cookies, I notice I tend to get a flatter cookie.  It is not always a problem, but for these cookies, flatter is not better.  I changed the recipe up a bit and they turned out great! My husband gobbled them up!side note: These cookies will be HUGE! Mmmm!

If you make this recipe, snap a photo and hashtag it #chefintraining and/or #chefintrainingblog. I would love to see how these recipes take shape in your kitchens.
