  40. Jen

Can you think of anything I could you use in lieu of the maple syrup? I am in love with baked Brie, but not a fan of the flavor of maple syrup.

    Thanks!!

  41. Mindy

Yum! Super easy and delicious :) Do you mind if I feature this on my blog? With all the credit to you, of course!

  42. Ida

could I wrap t his in puff pastry first then put the brown sugar and cranberry mixture on top when almost baked? I have had brie in puff pastry and its great but with a different topping

  43. Katie

I was thinking of making this and giving as a gift to my wine-o buddy with of course a bottle of wine. How would you recommend giving it? Should I cook it first then refrigerate it for a night? Also, what do you recommend wrapping it up in? I was going to buy a Christmas tin to bring it in. and putting into something like a tin?

  44. Nicole

    Nikki,
This recipe is amazing! I made this over the weekend and I am going to post a photo of my baked brie and a link to your recipe on this page, if that's okay. I just want to give you the credit and blog traffic for the recipe. Thanks again for sharing! I love your blog :)

  45. Melissa A

Can't wait to try this! Yummy!

  46. judy

Was that a typo? If you bake brie for 15 to 20 MINUTES, you will get a pool of somewhat greasy completely melted cheese, with brown steaks from the brown sugar. Yes, you would need a dish with sides for that mess. Good thing we were having good friends over, we had a good laugh at the recipe.. And the process is ridiculous also. All you need to do is mix together the chopped pecans, cranberries (I chop them too), and brown sugar, Pat them over the piece of brie (I used a wedge shaped piece and had pecan mix left over). Sprinkle maple syrup or honey over top. Put brie in the microwave for 30 - 60 seconds...watch it ....the goal is very very soft, cheese. Some will be melted on the sides. Serve with some bread product and / or sliced fruit.

  47. Donna

Do you remove the skin from the brie?

  48. kristine

Would be great with a little whiskey or rum instead of that maple syrup!

  49. pat

This was the hit of my party. My husband keeps asking for it again.

  50. Pati Rhea

This sounds absolutely delicious and I can't wait to try it. I have not worked with Brie before so I am wondering if I need to remove the rind first. Thanks!

  51. Karla

I make something similar but can't stand the rine(so). Have you ever cooked it without or do you think it'd ooze everywhere?

  52. Judy

Do you remove the white coating from the top of the Bering before baking?

Great recipe but very frustrating that I could not print recipe with out all the ads included. What should have been 1-2pgs ended up 4pgs of ads in between recipe instructions. I will not be using anymore recipes from this site.

    1. Chef in Training

So sorry about the trouble. This is an older recipe and I am just now getting around to updating it to the new recipe cards. I apologize for the inconvenience.
