Chicken-Fried Chops in the Slow …

I had some pork chops that I got at a great price at the grocery store the other day and was looking for a new way to cook them.I came across this website and this recipe and decided to try it out.It was delicious! My camera was dead at dinner time, so I am just going to use the picture the website posted, but it looks very similar!

here’s the recipe:6 pork chops (boneless or with bones)1/2 cup flour2 tsp. salt1 1/2 tsp. ground mustard1/2 tsp. garlic powderoil for frying chops1 can cream of chicken soup1/3 cup waterMix the flour, salt, ground mustard and garlic powder together.  Dredge the chops in the flour mixture and fry in a skillet.  You don’t need to cook them all the way, just get them browned.  Put the chops in the slow cooker.Mix the soup and water together.  Pour into the hot skillet, stirring to pick up all the little crispy pieces left by the chops.  Pour the gravy over the top of the chops in the slow cooker.  Cook on low for 6-8 hours.***I didn’t have mustard powder on hand, so I first coated each strip in mustard, then dredged each mustard coated pork chop in the flour, salt, and garlic powder mixture.  It still turned out fabulous! Enjoy!

  1. Just an extra, when I fry pork chops, in a pan or in the oven, I dredge them in honey mustard before the flour or breadcrumb coating. Even my kids ask for more, YUM!
